Your 2021 Autumn Budget Review – Webinar

11 downing street

The chancellor has confirmed that his Autumn Budget (formerly the Autumn Statement) will take place on Wednesday 27th October. While it is possible that this year’s major financial changes have already been announced, it is likely that Rishi Sunak will still have some rabbits up his sleeve.

In his speech at the recent Conservative party conference, Mr Sunak indicated that he would use tax rises, rather than borrowing, to fund future spending pledges which suggests there could be some challenging ideas to be presented.

Our senior adviser Paul Hart hosted a webinar on Tuesday 2nd November to explain the key concepts declared in the Budget and importantly, what they mean for you as a successful medic.

Paul covered these topics:

  • Will high inflation persist into 2022?
  • What stealth taxes might be introduced?
  • Will Capital Gains Tax be increased?
  • How might your private practice be affected?
  • Can we expect changes to your pension savings limits and taxes?
